I make autobiographical figurative sculpture working mostly in the ceramics medium. I am drawn to the immediacy, tangibility and interactivity of collectible objects, they carry a presence that contribute to our sense of place in the world and our associated emotions. The objects we collect tell a personal story and have a powerful connection to memory.
Much of the content of my work explores the transition between youth and adulthood. Emerging identity and impact on mental health when attempting to navigate a sense of place in the world.
